Here is the perfect energy filled snack to use up your leftover almond pulp from making delicious almond milk in your MOD Cold Press.
One of the great things about making almond milk in your MOD juicer and not in a blender is that the pulp comes out super dry meaning you can skip having to dry the pulp out in the oven and go straight to incorporating it into recipes such as this.
The leftover almond pulp is also great used it cakes and muffins.
Almond Pulp Choc Bliss Balls | MOD Appliances
Leftover nut milk pulp*
9 soft medjool dates, pitted
1/4 cup buckwheat groats
2 TBSP chia seeds
2 TBSP cocoa powder
1 TBSP almond butter (can sub for cashew or peanut)
Dash of vanilla essence
Pinch of sea salt
Desiccated coconut for rolling
Place the desiccated coconut onto a small plate and set aside.
Add all the remaining ingredients to your MOD Blend Pro and pulse until combined and sticks together when pinched between fingers.
Tip into a bowl and form into balls - whatever size you prefer and roll in the coconut. Store in the fridge or freezer for a quick and easy healthy snack that will satisfy any of the afternoon sugar cravings.
