Apple & Beetroot: Christmas Mocktail

With the silly season upon us, staying on top of our health is super important!

We have created a Christmas Mocktail delight that is packed full with nutrients, providing some balance to the plethora of cake and pavlova consumed over the holiday period.

This combo produces a ruby red juice that cleverly disguises the beetroot and kale added, making it a great option for kids too.

Ingredients

 

  • 1 medium beetroot, sliced into chunks

  • 1 large green apple, sliced into quarters

  • ½ lime, skin removed

  • 3 leaves of kale, woody stems removed

  • 2 - 3 medium ripe black plums

Directions

  1. Wash all produce to remove any dirt;

  2. Set up your MOD Cold Press Juicer and slowly, steadily feed all the prepared produce down the chute;

  3. Serve over ice.
