Easy Immunity Juice
Remember the well known saying "A healthy body starts from the inside out"?
There is no doubt that our bodies are amazing machines. A healthy body is constantly working hard to fight off viruses and bad bacteria, all while keeping our energy levels up to power us through the day. A vital component of having a healthy body is maintaining a healthy immune system.

From someone who has previously weakened their immune system by contracting glandular fever, I can honestly say it took a solid five years before my immune system was back operating at its former glory.
Along with getting enough sleep each night (try and aim for a minimum of 8 hours each and every night...yes, I know, I can just picture all the mum's and dad's out there rolling their eyes), making sure you are feeding your body a healthy range of vitamins and minerals is crucial.
For a lot of people though, this is far easier said than done. For those passionate about cooking and food, finding ways to incorporate a variety of different fruits and vegetables in their diet is an easy exercise. For the rest of the population who have mastered somewhere between five to seven different dishes and will simply rotate through them on a weekly basis, being told they have to start incorporating kale, silverbeet or beetroot into their diet can seem overwhelming and unachievable.
Those five to seven dishes may indeed be healthy but variety in the foods we eat is so important for maintaining gut health and keeping our immunity defences strong.

Oranges are packed with vitamins and minerals including vitamin C, vitamin D and they also have Vitamin A that helps reduce inflammation and aid the immune system.
Celery is a great source of antioxidants and may also help fight infections with its antimicrobial properties, which can also assist in boosting the immune system.
Ginger is known for boosting our immune system as it has anti-inflammatory properties and it can also help improve brain function.
