Choc Banana Breakfast Smoothie
This is an simple, easy and extra yummy breakfast smoothie.
It is never too early for chocolate and if you have a sweet tooth like me, it is a great option to satisfy the craving without experiencing a sugar crash only a few hours later.

By freezing the banana ahead of time and adding nut butter and flax seeds, the smoothie will have a nice thickness to it but there is enough liquid added that you will still be able to sip it through a straw - perfect if you are needing breakfast on the run.
Adding nut butter to smoothies ensures you get a healthy dose of good fats in your diet. Almond butter, for example, contains heart-loving monounsaturated fats along with vitamin E, magnesium and calcium. Nut butters also are quite calorie dense meaning it will keep you feeling fuller for longer.
